Firstly, you need to install and activate a plugin called Comment Attachment By Latorante. If you do not know how to it, you may see how to install a plugin in WordPress.

To merely install, a plugin from your admin dashboard click add new under Plugin area. When you are area then search for Comment Attachment. Once get the one, make sure you install and activated this.

After activating this to navigate Settings > Discussion > Comment Attachments area.

Importance: You must go through all the way down to click save changes to store your settings.

  • Change if the upload field is before or after the default comment fields.
  • You may select a label of upload field (default is ‘Upload Attachment’)
  • Just select a label of attachment in comment text (default is ‘Attachment:’)
  • Make attachment a required field.
  • You can select which file types are allowed to be attached.
  • Select if the attachment is visible in the actual comment.
  • Change if attachment should be attached to post your visitor comments on, or not.
  • You need to select the position of attachment in the comment, either before the main comment or after it.
  • Decide whether the attachment can be downloaded.
